Jeffrey Cobb is a renowned American professional wrestler with a storied career in the world of wrestling. As of May 2025, he is a proud member of WWE's SmackDown brand, competing under the ring name JC Mateo.
Prior to his current stint in WWE, Cobb made a lasting impact in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW),where he was an integral part of the esteemed United Empire. During his time in NJPW, Cobb achieved impressive accolades, including becoming a one-time NEVER Openweight Champion and a three-time IWGP Tag Team Champion.
In addition to his accomplishments in NJPW, Cobb has also made significant contributions to other prominent wrestling promotions. In Lucha Underground, he wrestled as the enigmatic Matanza Cueto, claiming the Lucha Underground Championship.
