Jenna Boyd was born on March 4, 1993, in Bedford, Texas, and has been a multi-talented individual since the age of two. Her mother, Debbie, entered her into a modeling search when she was just two years old, and her enthusiasm and sweet nature captured the hearts of agents who urged her mother to send her to agencies.
Soon, Jenna was appearing in commercials and print ads, and was cast as one of the young kids in The Barney Show. A few years later, her family moved to Atlanta, Georgia, due to work commitments involving her father, Mike, who now flies for Delta Air. Jenna's agent in Atlanta urged her mother to temporarily move to Los Angeles, California, to audition, which worked, and she was quickly cast in several TV shows, including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Just Shoot Me!, Titus, and Six Feet Under.
Jenna also appeared in the feature TV-movie Mary Christmas, where she played the lead character, Felice. Her first foray into film was a small part in The Hunted, directed by William Friedkin, where she played the daughter of Benicio Del Toro's character, alongside Tommy Lee Jones. She then appeared in Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star, playing star David Spade's "adopted" daughter Sally.
Jenna's biggest breakthrough came in Ron Howard's film The Missing, where she received critical acclaim for her haunting portrayal of Dot Gilkenson, daughter of Cate Blanchett's character. Besides acting, Jenna is also an award-winning skater, who has mastered the double jump move and is a straight-A student. She juggles her schedule of skating, school, and acting with ease.
In her free time, Jenna enjoys running a spy club with her friends, horseback riding, attending church, making homemade perfumes, and spending time with her brother, Cayden, who is also an up-and-coming actor. Jenna currently resides in Los Angeles.
