Jock McKissic, a talented individual, hails from Opelika, Alabama, where his mother, Cynthia D. Smith, first recognized his passion for entertaining at the tender age of seven.
As a young boy, Jock began to nurture his love for the performing arts by participating in church and school plays, laying the foundation for a lifelong pursuit of his craft.
However, as he entered high school, his enthusiasm for entertainment took a temporary backseat to his involvement in sports.
Later, during his time at Clemson University, Jock would occasionally join the campus improv team, honing his skills and gaining valuable experience in front of an audience.
In 2012, he made his way back to the camera, landing a role on the USA television show, Necessary Roughness, marking the beginning of his journey as a full-time actor.
Following his retirement from football later that year, Jock dedicated himself to his craft, expanding his resume to include not only acting but also writing and directing.
