Joe Dixon, a celebrated English actor of international acclaim, entered this world on October 10th, 1965, in the vibrant city of Birmingham, England, to a loving family of Jamaican heritage.
From a young age, Joe's passion for the performing arts was evident, and it was at Castle Vale Comprehensive School that he first discovered his calling. Under the guidance of a perceptive and supportive drama teacher, Joe's natural talent was skillfully nurtured and cultivated, ultimately leading him to join the esteemed Birmingham Youth Theatre alongside his talented contemporary, Barry Aird.
As the fervor for acting within Dixon's being continued to intensify, he embarked upon a quest for further academic enrichment at the esteemed Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, a renowned institution that has long been revered for its excellence in the field of dramatic arts, and simultaneously, he also attended Castle Vale Comprehensive, a respected educational establishment that would later undergo a name change to Greenwood Academy, thereby providing him with a comprehensive and well-rounded educational experience.
