Joe Minjares was born in the vibrant city of Minneapolis, Minnesota, to his loving parents, Guadalupe and Benjamin Minjares. His early life was marked by a strong sense of patriotism, as he enlisted in the U.S. Army intelligence corps in 1964, serving his country until 1968.
After his military service, Joe pursued his passion for entrepreneurship, founding Pepitos Mexican Foods inc. in 1971. This marked the beginning of a successful business venture that would bring joy and delicious Mexican cuisine to many.
In the early 1980s, Joe began to explore his creative side, making his acting debut in the movie Patty Rocks in 1982. He further honed his comedic skills by winning the 1984 Minneapolis Comedy invitational as a stand-up comedian.
Joe's talent for acting didn't go unnoticed, as he went on to work on several stage productions at the prestigious Mixed Blood Theater in Minneapolis. He was also a regular performer at the iconic Comedy Store and Improv in Los Angeles, showcasing his impressive skills to audiences.
In addition to his acting career, Joe worked as a staff writer at Universal Studios, contributing to the popular "Tom" show.
Today, Joe is married to his wonderful wife, Susan, and is the proud father of five children, with ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His family is his greatest joy and a testament to the love and happiness he has found in his life.
