JP's journey in the entertainment industry began with a breakthrough Off-Off-Broadway performance, leading to a starring role in his first feature film, Trick, as Mark, a go-go boy. This indie film garnered a Grand Jury Prize nomination at the Sundance Film Festival and has since become a cult classic, available on the Criterion Channel.
Throughout his career, JP has appeared in numerous television shows, including a two-season stint on HBO's acclaimed drama, Six Feet Under, where he played Phil, the cremator.
