Noted thespian and accomplished pianist, John's illustrious career began with a stint at the esteemed Goodman Theatre in Chicago, where he honed his skills in acting and directing, ultimately graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in directing in 1967.
This talented individual went on to tread the boards at the prestigious Arena Stage in Washington D.C., delivering standout performances over the course of two seasons in 1977-78 and 1981.
Next, John brought his considerable talents to the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis, where he spent two seasons (1984-1986) perfecting his craft. Following this, he made his way to the Public Theatre in New York, where he again demonstrated his impressive range over the course of two seasons, from 1987-1989.
In 1990, John made the move to Los Angeles, where he has since established himself as a respected and accomplished performer. One of his most notable endeavors is the "Piano Masters" program, which he has presented at over 100 grade schools within the Los Angeles Unified School District since 2001.
In addition to his work in the world of classical music, John also regularly performs piano concerts at retirement homes throughout Southern California, sharing his passion for music with audiences of all ages.
