Jon Kroll has produced over two hundred television shows, including the acclaimed "The Amazing Race", for which he received a prestigious Primetime Emmy Award. As the Executive Producer and Showrunner, he recently completed work on the third season of the primetime series "Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted" for National Geographic, a position he has held since the show's inception.
In addition to his recent projects, Kroll's notable works include the award-winning feature documentary "From Hell to Hollywood", which won the Audience Award at the Kansas City Film Fest International, and "Pink Collar Crimes" for CBS. He has also had a hand in producing two seasons of the reality series "American Grit" for Fox, starring WWE superstar John Cena, three seasons of the popular reality show "Big Brother" for CBS, and the controversial UPN series "Amish in the City", which received critical acclaim as "One of the best new reality series of the year". Furthermore, Kroll has directed three feature films prior to this.
Originally from Northern California, Kroll was raised on a Mendocino County commune without television or electricity. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, competitive archer Karen Kroll.
