Jonathan Howsmon Davis, a renowned musician, was born and raised in the vibrant city of Bakersfield, California. During his teenage years, he began recording demos in his father's studio, laying the foundation for his future musical endeavors.
As he grew older, Davis joined a band called Sex Art, which also featured Ryan Shuck, who would later become the guitarist for the band Orgy. Although Sex Art only released one song, titled "Inside", their music caught the attention of James 'Munky' Shaffer and Brian 'Head' Welch, who were then part of the band "L.A.P.D.". The two musicians were impressed by Davis's vocal talent and asked him to join their new project, which would eventually become the iconic band Korn.
After a successful audition, Davis became an official member of Korn, and the band went on to release an impressive twelve studio albums, including Korn (1994),Life Is Peachy (1996),Follow the Leader (1998),Issues (1999),Untouchables (2002),Take a Look in the Mirror (2003),See You on the Other Side (2005),Untitled album (2007),Korn III: Remember Who You Are (2010),The Path of Totality (2011),The Paradigm Shift (2013),and Serenity of Suffering (2016).
In addition to his work with Korn, Davis has also explored other musical genres, releasing two EDM/Dubstep albums under the monikers JDevil and Killbot: Sound Surgery in 2012.
Furthermore, Davis has become an advocate for the Wounded Warriors program, which provides aid and raises awareness for wounded veterans of war. He has also starred in the Wounded Warriors documentary, released in 2013, further emphasizing his dedication to this important cause.
