His journey in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of five when he was discovered by a local management company, TM Talent. This led to a series of commercials and small parts on various television shows.
A significant breakthrough came at the age of eight when Josh auditioned for Bravo's reality series "Situation Comedy" and was selected from hundreds of boys to play the lead role of Stephen in "Stephen's Life". The series was produced by Sean Hayes and Todd Millner, with Fred Savage directing.
Josh's next notable role was as the youngest brother of four in the ABC pilot "My Life With Men", which starred Wendi Malick. Josh's talent was soon spotted by renowned producer Jerry Weintraub, who personally called him to ask him to play the role of Corky in "Nancy Drew", starring Emma Roberts. Jerry even rewrote the role specifically for Josh, who accepted the offer.
Following the success of "Nancy Drew", Josh was offered numerous opportunities and landed the role of Mike, the choir boy, in "License to Wed", opposite the legendary Robin Williams. During the film's promotion on Larry King, Robin Williams praised Josh's exceptional comedy timing, stating that he had never seen such talent in a young kid.
