Born in Dallas, Texas, and raised in the charming small town of McAllen, nestled in the Rio Grande Valley, Wise excelled in junior high school drama classes, showcasing his exceptional talent and laying the foundation for a promising acting career.
His outstanding performances in school productions, including "I Never Saw Another Butterfly", a powerful and emotional drama based on the Holocaust, and "Close Ties", earned him the prestigious Best Actor award in the school's competition for two consecutive years. This remarkable achievement was met with a special reward from his mother, who gifted him with acting classes in Austin and Dallas, where he was introduced to a manager through his acting coach.
Following a brief stint in Los Angeles, California, Wise quickly landed guest-starring roles on the popular TV show "Frasier", playing a rival spelling champion competing against Frasier's son, and on "Lizzie McGuire", where he portrayed a love interest to the titular character. These early successes paved the way for his first major break on the TV series "Do Over" in 2002.
