Judd Lormand, a talented actor, is well-known for his recurring role as Lt. Commander Eric Blackburn on the Paramount Plus series Seal Team. In addition to his work on the show, Lormand has appeared in a variety of films and television series.
Some of his notable film roles include playing Secretary of State Robert McNamara in the biographical drama LBJ, alongside Woody Harrelson, and the uptight bank manager Mr. Freely in the upcoming comedy Carter & June. He has also appeared in the latest Jack Reacher film, playing a corrupt police officer who tries to subdue Tom Cruise.
Born in Marshall, Texas, Lormand grew up in Houston and spent several years in Saudi Arabia, where his father worked as a civil engineer building natural gas pipelines. The family later moved to Lafayette, Louisiana, where Lormand attended Comeaux High School and The University of Louisiana.
Lormand credits his high school drama teacher, Sandra LaBorde, for encouraging his interest in theater arts. Today, he splits his time between Los Angeles and Atlanta, GA. Between acting assignments, Lormand is often busy at home as a father of three and occasionally delves into his interest in astronomy.
