Julia Morrison, born Julia Anne Holys, began her life journey in Palo Alto, California. Her academic path was marked by a full scholarship to The College of William & Mary, where she delved into the fascinating realm of biology. Following her graduation, her theater professor's encouragement played a pivotal role in Julia's decision to relocate to New York, where she embarked on a pursuit of a career in film and acting.
Julia's accomplishments are multifaceted, as she is currently a Grillo-Marxuach Family Fellow in Writing for Film & TV at the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts. Her academic endeavors have also been recognized with the Alliance for Women in Media and Loreen Arbus Foundation Scholarships. Furthermore, Julia is a proud graduate of the Maggie Flanigan Studio, a renowned Meisner-based acting conservatory.
Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Julia is also the vocalist of the electronic music duo Alien Bay. Their debut track, 'Carpal Tunnel', recently garnered significant attention after being featured in the psychological thriller film 'Cam', a production of Blumhouse and Netflix.
