Julianna Guill was born on July 7, 1987, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA. She is the daughter of Ann and Earl Guill and one of three children who grew up singing and acting. From an early age, she began taking tap, ballet, and jazz dance classes and continued singing in the choir while attending R.J. Reynolds High School, where she graduated in 2005.
Guill's early career consisted of numerous guest appearances in television series, including One Tree Hill, CSI: Miami, 90210, How I Met Your Mother, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. She also had a regular role in the web television series My Alibi, playing the character Scarlet Haukkson.
In 2009, Guill appeared in the films 2 Dudes and a Dream, Fired Up!, Road Trip: Beer Pong, and Friday the 13th. She also appeared in MTV's My Super Psycho Sweet 16, which received mixed reviews from critics but had strong ratings.
In 2010, Guill starred in the independent teen comedy film Costa Rican Summer and had a lead role in the thriller film Altitude. She also had a recurring role on the TBS series Glory Daze, playing the character Christie Dewitt.
In 2011, Guill co-starred in the Steve Carell comedy Crazy, Stupid, Love., and guest-starred in the NBC comedy Community as the Head Cheerleader. She also had a role in the Dark Castle production The Apparition.
In 2012, Guill had a recurring role on the TV series Underemployed and a main role on the short-lived series Bad Samaritans. Her more recent roles include a recurring role on Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce and lead roles in the dark comedy Killing Poe and Bad Night.
Guill has also guest-starred on Rush Hour and Relationship Status, and had a role as Stark's Assistant in Captain America: Civil War.
