Born Julius Laurence George Cotter in Dublin, Ireland, Julius has spent most of his life oscillating between England and Spain. His family boasts a rich heritage, tracing their roots back to the Norse-Gaelic descent and the Hiberno-Norse King, Óttar of Dublin. From an early age, Julius developed a profound interest in art and acting, which led him to participate in school plays, create paintings, and compose poetry.
Julius's educational background is equally impressive, having graduated with a BA Honours Degree in Fine Art and Film Theory from the University of East London. He went on to work as a gallery assistant at the Michael Parkin Fine Art gallery in London, where he honed his skills in cataloguing and hanging shows. Later, he transitioned into the film industry, working as an Assistant Director for various Production Companies in Spain.
Julius's journey as an actor began in 2010, and he has since worked extensively in theatre, television, and film, effortlessly navigating both English and Spanish languages. He has honed his craft through rigorous training, studying the Meisner technique in Barcelona with Javier Galitó-Cava and taking master classes from Rachael Adler, who was trained by Sanford Meisner.
