Julius Cotter is a renowned Irish actor, recognized for his captivating performances in various roles. His family boasts a rich Norse-Gaelic heritage, tracing back to the Hiberno-Norse King, Óttar of Dublin. From a young age, Cotter developed a passion for art and acting, participating in school plays, painting, and writing poetry.
Cotter's educational background is marked by his attendance at Allhallows College, Rousden, and the University of East London, where he graduated with a BA Honours Degree in Fine Art and Film Theory. He honed his skills by working as a gallery assistant at the Michael Parkin Fine Art gallery in Motcomb street, Belgravia, London, and later as an Assistant Director for various Production Companies in Spain.
After studying the Meisner technique in Barcelona with Javier Galitó-Cava and taking master classes from Rachael Adler, Cotter began his acting career in 2010. He has since worked in theatre, television, and film, showcasing his versatility in both English and Spanish.
