Justin Portal Welby, a distinguished British clergyman, has occupied the prestigious position of Archbishop of Canterbury since 2013, marking the 105th individual to assume this influential role within the Church of England, and thereby, the most senior bishop in the institution.
Prior to his tenure as Archbishop, Welby held the position of vicar of Southam, situated in Warwickshire, where he served with dedication and distinction.
Subsequently, he took on the role of Bishop of Durham, a position he held for approximately one year, during which time he made significant contributions to the Church and its community.
