Jwaundace Candece, known professionally as JC, began her acting career in middle school, drawn to edgy, unconventional, and physically demanding roles that reflected her unconventional upbringing. Abandoned by her parents at a young age, JC was raised by the streets and her grandparents, surrounded by older cousins and neighborhood friends, mostly boys. She learned to drive at the age of 10, teaching herself by riding with neighbors and driving various vehicles, including cars, trucks, motorcycles, and ATVs. This early experience with driving became second nature, influencing her acting and stunt work.
JC's career spans over 200 film and television productions, showcasing her versatility as an actor, stunt performer, and stunt double. She has worked alongside Hollywood's elite, including Viola Davis, Queen Latifah, Oprah Winfrey, and Pam Grier, solidifying her status as a prominent figure in the industry.
JC's acting credits include notable films such as "Paradise Highway" alongside Morgan Freeman, "Spiderman: No Way Home," Disney's "Loki," Netflix's "Naked," and the acclaimed "Let's Be Cops." Her stunt work has earned her multiple nominations for a SAG Award, and she has been recognized for her debut role as Queen Latifah's stunt double in "Bringing Down the House."
Before pursuing her acting career, JC prioritized her education, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Theater Arts and a Master's in Counseling Psychology. She began her career in the wrestling world as Delta Lotta Pain, a member of the iconic tag team Caged Heat, and achieved the prestigious title of WOW's 1st Tag Team Champions.
