Kadiff Kirwan, a renowned British actor of stage and screen, has led a life marked by significant events and choices that have shaped his career and personal journey.
Born in Plymouth, Montserrat, to parents Matilda and Peter Kirwan, Kadiff's early life was forever changed when the Soufrière Hills volcano erupted in July 1995, destroying the island's capital and rendering part of the island uninhabitable. This event led to his family's relocation to Preston, Lancashire, in 1998, as Montserrat is an internally self-governing overseas territory of the United Kingdom.
As Kadiff approached adulthood, he made the bold decision to move to London at the age of 18 to pursue a career in acting. He went on to graduate from the Central School of Speech and Drama in 2011, after completing a three-year degree in Acting.
Kadiff's impressive stage career has seen him star in various productions at esteemed theatres, including the National Theatre, Donmar Warehouse, and The Old Vic. In 2013/14, he appeared alongside Michaela Coel and Antonia Thomas in the National Theatre's production of HOME.
On screen, Kadiff has made a significant impact, earning recognition for his roles in the BAFTA award-winning show Chewing Gum and the critically acclaimed series BLACK MIRROR (Netflix).
