Kaley Christine Cuoco was born on November 30, 1985, in Camarillo, California, to parents Layne Ann (Wingate) and Gary Carmine Cuoco, a realtor. Her ancestry is a mix of Italian, German, and English. Cuoco began her career as a model and commercial actress at the tender age of six.
Her early television credits include guest-starring roles on popular shows such as Ellen, Northern Exposure, Don't Forget Your Toothbrush, and My So-Called Life. She also played a leading role in the miniseries Mr. Murder in 1998. Cuoco's film credits include Lucky 13, Picture Perfect, and Virtuosity.
On stage, Cuoco has performed in several productions, including "Annie" and "Fiddler on the Roof" in the Los Angeles area. When not acting, she enjoys playing tennis, spending time with friends, going to the mall, and hip-hop dancing.
Cuoco was home-schooled and grew up in Ventura County, California, with her family. She was previously married to Karl Cook and then to tennis player Ryan Sweeting. In early 2022, she began dating actor Tom Pelphrey, and the couple made their first public appearance at a Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in May 2022.
In October 2022, Cuoco announced on Instagram that she and Pelphrey were expecting their first child together. She gave birth to their daughter, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, on March 30, 2023.
