Kareem Tristan Alleyne, a talented Canadian-born actor, was raised in Montreal by his Vincentian and Grenadian parents. His creative pursuits were deeply influenced by his sister's stories about drama class in high school, which sparked his passion for the arts.
Growing up, Kareem was an avid student of drama, taking classes from 7th to 11th grade and earning three out of four Actor of the Year awards. This early exposure solidified his resolve to pursue a career in the arts.
Kareem's first performance was at the age of 10, when he played Elijah in a church play. After graduating from John Abbott College's Professional Theatre Program in Montreal, he began his theatre career in Black Theatre Workshop's production of The Meeting by Jeff Stetson.
Throughout his career, Kareem has made guest appearances in several TV shows and feature films, including Quantico, 19-2, 21 Thunder, Jack Ryan, On The Basis of Sex, iZombie, and Altered Carbon. In 2020, he starred in Lifetime's Stolen by my Mother: The Kamiyah Mobley Story, working alongside Niecy Nash, Ta'Rhonda Jones, and Rayven Symone Ferrell. The film broke records, attracting over 2 million viewers in its premiere.
Kareem has also completed his starring role as Monty Fassbeck in Bounce TV's holiday film 'Marry Me This Christmas', working alongside Ransom's Brandon Jay McLaren and Twenties star Gabrielle Graham.
In addition to his film and TV credits, Kareem has worked on notable video games, including Ubisoft's Watch Dogs 2 and Assassin's Creed: Origins. He lent his voice to the critically acclaimed EA Sports' Need For Speed: Heat and voiced his role as Alex in Game On's Man of Medan.
Kareem's career began in Montreal, but he later moved to Toronto and eventually found residence in Vancouver, where he has thrived, amassing his most notable TV and film roles to date.
