Born and raised in the charming city of Bath, England, Kathryn's early life was deeply rooted in the world of theatre, fostering a profound appreciation for the arts from a young age.
Throughout her formative years, Kathryn has amassed an impressive portfolio, transitioning seamlessly from amateur theatre to professional work in England and Canada across various mediums, including theatre, film, video-games, and television.
Kathryn's academic credentials are equally impressive, having graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University's esteemed Theatre School program in Toronto, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Performance Acting with Honours.
During her training, Kathryn had the opportunity to study a diverse range of theatrical styles, including Classical Shakespeare, Naturalism (Stella Adler/Uta Hagen),Period Study (Jacobean),Mask, Mime, Clown, Commedia dell'arte, Voice & Speech, Movement (Alexander technique/Laban),Dance (Period/Jazz/Tap),and Musical Theatre.
In addition to her theatrical training, Kathryn is also proficient in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz, and boasts a strong mezzo-soprano singing voice. Furthermore, she is adept at adopting various accents, including British RP, and other accents come naturally to her.
