Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, Kathy Christopherson is the youngest of four children. From a young age, she has been involved in the entertainment industry, earning a reputation for blending her "leading lady" persona with her "character actress" sensibility.
Kathy has been fortunate enough to study under the guidance of renowned acting coaches, including the brilliant Larry Moss, the late John Lehne, and Jeff Corey. She has had the opportunity to work alongside some of Hollywood's most talented actors, such as Roy Scheider, Grace Zabriskie, Michael Madsen, and James Russo.
Throughout her career, Kathy has portrayed a wide range of characters, from the estranged wife in "Executive Target" to the delusional junkie in "Intermission." She has also gained a reputation for acting in award-winning national commercials, including the "Expedia" spots with Cooper and the Super Bowl "Bud Light" spot with Sean P. Hayes.
In addition to her work in film and television, Kathy is a lover of theater and has had the honor of performing in some of LA's best equity-waiver theaters, including The Court, The Odyssey, and the HBO Workspace. She has also ventured into writing and producing, with her first feature script, "The Wind Effect," being one of the top six finalists in the 2007 IFP Market festival in New York.
Kathy has recently appeared in several television shows, including "Kamen Rider Dragon Knight," "Entourage," "Dexter," "Private Practice," and "Californication." She has also co-starred in the feature film "Dreams and Shadows" alongside James Russo, and is set to appear in the upcoming indie film "The New Republic" and features "Dispatch" and "My Trip to the Dark Side."
In addition to her film and television work, Kathy has also ventured into new media, creating her own web series, "In the Bath with Kath." She continues to write and produce for film and theater, solidifying her reputation as a talented and versatile actress, writer, and producer.
