Keith Alcorn has been a prominent figure in the animation industry for over four decades, with a career spanning numerous roles and projects.
As a co-founder of DNA Productions, Inc. in 1987, Alcorn played a crucial role in the company's evolution from providing script-to-screen services for corporate and commercial clients to becoming one of the largest animation facilities in the United States.
In 1997, Alcorn took on the dual roles of producer and character designer for the ABC animated Christmas special "Santa vs. the Snowman". Two years later, the project was reimagined as the first all-animated IMAX feature film, with Alcorn serving as director and designer.
Alcorn's impressive resume also includes producing the Emmy-nominated "Olive, the Other Reindeer" for the FOX network and Matt Groening in 1999, as well as co-creating and producing the Oscar-nominated animated feature film "Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius" for Paramount and Nickelodeon in 2001.
In addition to his work on "Jimmy Neutron", Alcorn also directed and co-executive produced the Nickelodeon series "The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius" and served as executive producer on the feature film "The Ant Bully" for Warner Brothers and Tom Hanks.
In the 2010s, Alcorn co-created, executive produced, directed, and wrote the Nickelodeon animated series "Planet Sheen", followed by writing and directing the faith-based animated series "Owlegories" and the hour-long documentary "Back on Badstreet".
Throughout his career, Alcorn has demonstrated his versatility and range, taking on a variety of roles and projects that showcase his talents as a storyteller and visual artist.
Born and raised in Texas, Alcorn attended the University of Texas at Arlington, where he majored in Fine Arts and Film. In 2001, the university awarded him the Distinguished Alumni Award in recognition of his achievements.
Today, Alcorn resides just outside of Dallas, TX with his family, continuing to work on new and exciting projects in the world of animation.
