Kenneth Moraleda is a multifaceted individual, exceling as an actor, director, and writer of Filipino descent.
Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, he has lived in various cities, including Seattle, Manila, Los Angeles, and Sydney, Australia, where he received his training at the Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) and later graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) with a Bachelor of Acting in 1995.
Throughout his career, Kenneth has featured in numerous notable projects, including a 4-episode arc in the acclaimed ABC TV drama Janet King and the SBS comedy The Family Law.
His film credits include Arun in the iconic Australia comedy Lucky Miles, which earned him the Best Actor Award at the Cinemanila International Film Festival, and Monsod in The Great Raid directed by John Dahl for Miramax.
Kenneth has also appeared in various television shows, such as Channel 9's controversial TV event Schapelle, SBS drama East West 101, Matchbox Pictures/ABC TV Comedy Maximum Choppage, and numerous other programs.
In addition to his screen work, Kenneth has performed in numerous stage productions, including Muriel's Wedding The Musical, Talk, and Australian Graffiti with the Sydney Theatre Company.
His other theatre credits include playing Banzai in the Disney musical The Lion King Australian/Asian Tour, touring Australia with The National Theatre Of Great Britain and Global Creatures production of War Horse, and creating the role of Roger Chan in A Man With Five Children for STC.
Kenneth has also made his Philippine stage debut with Repertory Philippines as Bill Fordham in the Pulitzer Prize-winning play August: Osage County.
As a director, Kenneth made his debut with the immersive theatrical and cinematic music show They Say She's Different written and starring Cecilia Low, which received rave reviews at the Melbourne Fringe Festival 2015.
He has also been a leading artist in This Here. Land. - an experimental performance part of Liveworks Experimental Arts Festival in October 2017 and collaborated with Paschal Berry and Anino Shadowplay Collective on various projects.
Kenneth was a teacher and facilitator for Playwriting Australia's National Outreach program and a participant in Performance 4a and Playwriting Australia's Lotus First Draft - an initiative developing Asian-Australian playwrights.
