Notably, Kenny's feature film script, 'Dystonia', which is based on his personal experience as a violinist diagnosed with Focal Hand Dystonia, garnered recognition at several prestigious competitions. The script won the Telefilm New Voices Award from the Toronto Screenwriting Conference in 2017, and was subsequently a finalist at the Golden Script Competition and the Oaxaca Script Competition.
