Kenny Yates is a multifaceted individual with a strong presence in the film industry, boasting a dual heritage as a half-Italian, half-Filipino actor, voice actor, feature film producer, and director.
His journey in the entertainment industry began at a young age, as he started his career as a child actor on the Daytime Emmy-winning PBSkids show ZOOM, appearing in an impressive 80 episodes across two seasons.
As he transitioned to behind-the-camera work, Kenny landed his first gig on the 20th Century Fox/Regency film Date Movie, followed by a stint as assistant director to Jason Friedberg & Aaron Seltzer on Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, and Vampires Suck.
He was subsequently promoted to Associate Producer on Disaster Movie, before being bumped up again to Co-Producer/VFX Supervisor on The Starving Games and Superfast!
In addition to his work as a producer, Kenny has continued to act in each of Seltzer & Friedberg's movies, showcasing his versatility as a performer. His recent role as Floyd in the mockumentary comedy Reboot Camp, alongside Eric Roberts, Ed Begley Jr., and David Koechner, has further solidified his reputation as a talented actor.
Kenny's upcoming project, Wolf Mountain, sees him co-starring alongside scene partner Danny Trejo, and fans are eagerly anticipating the release of this exciting new film.
When not working on his many projects, Kenny can be found honing his craft at Playhouse West in North Hollywood, where he is studying the Meisner Technique. He was also a proud member of the sketch comedy group The Neighbors, directed by Sean Whalen, at the same repertory.
