Kevin was born in Los Gatos, California, but spent his formative years in Havertown, Pennsylvania. He attended Washington and Lee University, where he majored in Journalism and showcased his athletic prowess as captain of the basketball team.
After cutting his teeth in the sports marketing world for a Philadelphia-based firm, Kevin made the bold decision to leave his job and relocate to New York to pursue his passion for acting. He immersed himself in the craft, studying with esteemed instructors Wynn Handman and Greg Zittel.
As Kevin's talent and dedication took center stage, he began to work consistently in both stage and screen productions in New York. The allure of the West Coast eventually drew him to Los Angeles in 1999.
In 2009, Kevin enrolled in the Master of Fine Arts Acting program at The Ohio State University, where he went on to become a prominent figure in the university's partnership with the Royal Shakespeare Company. This collaboration culminated in the premiere of Kelly Hunter's adaptation of The Tempest at the prestigious Royal Shakespeare Company in 2014.
In 2013, Kevin joined the faculty of the OSU Department of Theatre, where he has since held the esteemed positions of Head of Acting and Directing. He has also been the director of the OSU Shakespeare and Autism Project since 2015.
When not behind the scenes, Kevin has continued to appear in various theater, film, and television productions, including Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile; Heartland; and his solo show Scrap Heap.
In his personal life, Kevin shares a loving relationship with his wife Lisa and is the proud father of two children, Eirann and Kavanagh.
