Kevin McDonald, a talented individual, hails from the vibrant city of Montreal, Canada. Initially, he pursued a degree in drama at Humber College, showcasing his artistic inclinations. However, his exceptional comedic prowess soon caught the attention of his instructors, who ultimately dismissed him from the program. Undeterred, McDonald enrolled in an improv class, where he crossed paths with the renowned comedian, Dave Foley.
As fate would have it, they began collaborating as a comedy duo while working as movie ushers, honing their skills and developing their unique brand of humor. In 1984, they joined forces with another esteemed comedy troupe, and The Kids in the Hall was born, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey for McDonald and his fellow performers.
