Kevin Short, also known as Kevin Williams, is a multifaceted creative individual, possessing a wide range of skills as an actor, writer, director, producer, and musician.
Growing up in Greater Manchester, Kevin's early start in the entertainment industry began at the tender age of fourteen, when he landed his first professional job and earned his Equity card.
This auspicious start led to a notable appearance as 'Alan Platt' in Granada Television's iconic soap opera, 'Coronation Street', which in turn sparked his desire to hone his craft.
Kevin's training continued at Jepson College of Dance and Drama in Oldham, Lancashire, where he refined his skills, followed by a stint in weekly Repertory at The Coliseum Theatre, also in Oldham.
Throughout his career, Kevin has maintained an impressive balance between his performing and creative pursuits, boasting a string of critically acclaimed appearances in London's West End, the Royal National Theatre, and on BBC, ITV, and C4 television.
In addition to his on-screen accomplishments, Kevin has also enjoyed a prolific writing and directing career, with a notable highlight being the production of over 200 shows at the Edinburgh Festival, where he received numerous accolades, including Best New Play, Best New Venue, and several Spirit of the Fringe awards.
