Kim DeJesús embarked on a journey of artistic development at Arizona State University, where she was honored with the prestigious Katherine K. Herberger Painting Scholarship, a testament to her exceptional talent and dedication to the craft. Following her academic pursuits, Kim went on to receive a post-graduate degree in art from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, further refining her skills and expertise.
Upon completing her studies, Kim embarked on a fulfilling career as an art teacher, sharing her passion and knowledge with others. For over a decade, she pursued innovative community-based collaborative art initiatives in the United States and abroad, fostering creative expression and community engagement through her work.
In recent years, Kim's artistic focus has shifted back to painting, and she is currently based in Los Angeles, where she is actively working on new projects and exploring fresh creative avenues.
