Biography

Kirklin Maclise, a retired actress, has made a notable impact in the entertainment industry with her appearances in Silhouette (2011),Mixed Blessings (2007),and Fear Itself (2008). Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Kirklin's early life was marked by a passion for the performing arts.

As a teenager, she attended the prestigious Victoria School of the Arts, where she was actively involved in numerous theatre productions, dance troupes, and choirs. This early exposure to the performing arts instilled in her a strong desire to become a professional theatre performer.

However, Kirklin's trajectory took an unexpected turn when she enrolled in the University of Alberta's Bachelor of Fine Arts program. During her time at the university, she experienced what she refers to as her "Quarter Life Crisis," leading her to reevaluate her goals and aspirations.

It was her mother who suggested exploring Veterinary Medicine, a career path that would allow Kirklin to combine her love of animals with her interest in the Biological Sciences. This newfound direction led her to switch to the Faculty of Science and take her first Animal Biology course, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her life.

Kirklin's decision to pursue Veterinary Medicine proved to be a turning point, and she went on to have a successful career in the field.
