Biography

Konstantinos Antonopoulos is a renowned Greek filmmaker, currently residing in Athens, Greece. His academic background consists of a study in computer science in Athens, which he later complemented with a Master of Fine Arts degree in filmmaking from Columbia University in New York.

During his time in the United States, Antonopoulos directed a series of acclaimed short films, including the award-winning "Without Glasses" in 2009 and "Lea" in 2013. His feature-length film, "Postcards from the End of the World", premiered internationally and garnered accolades at esteemed festivals such as Aspen Shortsfest, Winterthur Kurzfilmtage, and Brussels Short Film Festival. Moreover, his short film "Unorthodox" earned the prestigious Best Short Film award from the Hellenic Film Academy in 2023. Additionally, Antonopoulos co-wrote and directed the 8-episode series "Saute" which is set to premiere in 2023-2024.

In 2022, Antonopoulos received the Production Award at the Torino Feature Lab for his feature film in development, "Glory B". He is an alumnus of several prestigious programs, including the Sundance Lab, Berlinale Talents, Less Is More, First Films First, and Oxbelly. Antonopoulos is a strong advocate for the importance of patience in his creative process.
