Born on March 1st, 1916, in the vibrant city of Lwów, a place where the arts were alive and thriving. Her parents, Katarzyna Sawicka-Feldman, a renowned opera singer, and Ferdynand Feldman, a respected actor, instilled in her a deep love and appreciation for the performing arts from a young age.
With a strong foundation in the arts, she pursued her passion and enrolled in the prestigious National Institute of Theatre in Warsaw, where she honed her craft and developed her skills as an actress.
Her professional journey began with a debut performance in the "Kwiat paproci" ("Fern Flower") at the City Theatre in Lwów in 1937. During the tumultuous times of World War II, she continued to work according to her education, taking the stage at the Stage in Zimna Woda.
After the war, she moved to various theatres across Poland, including the Theatre in Opole, Wyspianski Silesia Theatre in Katowice, Polish Theatre in Szczecin, New Theatre and Public Theatre in Lódz, Theatre in Nowa Huta, Kraków. Since 1976, she called Poznan home, working at the Polish Theatre and later, from 1983, at the New Theatre.
Throughout her illustrious career, she earned recognition for her exceptional performances in supporting roles and episodes. But it was her leading role as Nikifor Krynicki in "My Nikifor" ("Mój Nikifor") at the age of 84 that truly showcased her range and talent.
Sadly, her life came to an end on January 24th, 2007, in Poznan, leaving behind a legacy of unforgettable performances and a lifelong dedication to the art of acting.
