Kyle Kaplan's journey in the world of theater began, and to this day, he still performs on stage whenever possible. He has had the privilege of playing the lead in several film and stage productions, with his first professional job being with the stage version of Jim Henson's Bear and the Big Blue House Live!, where he toured across the US and UK for an impressive ten months.
During his time on the stage, Kyle received numerous accolades, including nominations for an L.A. Critics Circle Award and a Backstage West Garland Award, as well as a performance at the prestigious Los Angeles Stage Ovation Awards.
In 2005, Kyle transitioned into television, making guest appearances on popular Disney and Nickelodeon shows, as well as landing a guest starring role in the 100th episode of "The Bernie Mac Show". He has since appeared on several prime-time shows, including "The Winner", "CSI: Miami", "The Riches", and as a recurring character on "The War at Home".
In addition to his television work, Kyle has also had a successful commercial career, with national campaigns for prominent brands such as Yahoo!, Wendy's, AT&T wireless, and Dairy Queen. He has also appeared in the upcoming film "Drillbit Taylor", starring Owen Wilson, which is set for release in 2008.
Kyle's television career has also seen him land series regular roles on several pilots, including "Grand Union" for NBC/Universal, "You've Reached the Elliotts" for CBS/Warner Bros., and "Tim Stack's Family Vacation" for Nick at Nite. He has also been cast in and filmed a drama series pilot for Fox entitled "The Oaks".
When he's not acting, Kyle enjoys playing guitar, singing, traveling, and hopes to one day obtain his pilot's license. Acting, however, remains his true passion, and he continues to pursue it with dedication and enthusiasm.
