Lara is a highly accomplished actress with a diverse range of credits to her name, with one of her most notable roles being in the ABC comedy series Upper Middle Bogan.
This year, she has taken a significant step in her career by being accepted into the prestigious MA Theatre Lab program at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) in London.
Prior to her work on Upper Middle Bogan, Lara appeared in the feature film Knowing, directed by Alex Proyas, where she played a dual role as both the daughter Abby and her mother Lucinda in flashback scenes, opposite Nicholas Cage and Rose Byrne.
In 2011, Lara played the role of Young Rose in the adaptation of Tim Winton's novel Cloudstreet, starring alongside a talented cast. Her performance earned her numerous awards and nominations, including an AACTA Best Young Actor Award, a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Drama, and an ASTRA award for Best New Talent.
In addition to her work in film and television, Lara has also appeared in various other projects, including City Homicide, Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, Winners and Losers, The Doctor Blake Mysteries, and the ABC/Netflix series Why Are You Like This.
Lara's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Melbourne, where she majored in Literature and Theatre Studies as well as Writing for Performance, both for theatre and screen. She is also a talented singer and musician, with advanced piano skills and training in dance.
