Larkin Campbell, a small-town kid at heart, was raised in the tiny yet spectacular mountain town of Estes Park, Colorado. He spent his childhood playing stick-ball in the street, performing in high school plays, and working on the school newspaper. Alongside his band of lunatic friends, he founded a comedic dance group called "Campbell's Crazy Crew," which performed at high school basketball games, pep rallies, and cheerleader camps until they realized nobody was still watching.
He later moved to Washington to attend Tacoma Community College, where he lived with his father in the gorgeous harbor town of Gig Harbor. There, he studied acting and journalism before transferring to Washington State University. While at WSU, he honed his skills in procrastination and tomfoolery while pursuing a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Theatre.
During his senior year, he visited Los Angeles and put in a request for an internship at the hit TV show Entertainment Tonight, which was granted upon graduation. He then worked as an intern and later as a full-time employee at Entertainment Tonight, gaining insight into the big business of show business. He worked on the red carpets at the Golden Globes Award shows and became hooked.
He moved on to work as a Production Assistant and personal assistant for Tom and Rosanne Arnold. He spent many years working as a stand-in and photo double on numerous big-budget movies, including ARMEGEDDON, LETHAL WEAPON 4, MYSTERY MEN, ESCAPE FROM LA, HARD RAIN, and many more.
Throughout his career, he has been a member of the Screen Actors Guild since 1995 and has never stopped chasing down the next role or opportunity. His hard work has led to numerous roles in film and TV, including guest-starring roles on CSI: NY, LAS VEGAS, CRIMINAL MINDS, and a supporting role in THE OFFICE opposite Steve Carell and Ed Helms.
He has also written, produced, and starred in over 25 short films and video projects that have won numerous awards at film festivals across the country. His work has been published in multiple parenting magazines, detailing the life of a stay-at-home parent trying to juggle the demands of an acting career.
Larkin Campbell is married to his wife of 25 years, Maria Battle Campbell, a hard-charging Assistant Director currently working on the AVATAR sequels. They are the proud parents of twin teenage boys, Colin and Casey, and are trying to survive raising their maniacal 8-year-old daughter, Shea.
