Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is the UK's favorite and most recognizable interior designer, renowned for his personal charisma and ability to inspire people to express themselves. He has appeared on numerous television shows, including "House of the Year 3" on BBC Northern Ireland, "Auction Party" and "House Gift" on ITV1, "Hidden Houses of Wales 2" on BBC Wales, and "Hidden Paintings of the West".
In addition to his television work, Laurence has also presented a program on BBC Wales, following the renovation of Llanelly House, and is the head judge of the popular series "The Apartment: Style Edition", which is broadcast to over 120 million homes on Fox Asia.
Laurence is a key member of the Classic FM team, hosting "Sunday Lunch with Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen" and enjoying an audience share of 20% (the average is 10%). He is also a regular on Radio 4, having hosted "With Great Pleasure" in 2014 and is about to start recording a new series on color to coincide with the History of Color exhibition at the National Gallery.
His other credits include "All Lit Up: A Century of Illumination in Blackpool", about the Blackpool Illuminations, which he is the creative curator for, and the program "Selling British Luxury". This year, Laurence is again fronting the Ideal Home Shows in London.
Laurence has written several books, including "Decorating with Laurence", which was published in 2010. He runs his own interior design practice in Cirencester and has a number of successful product ranges, including a best-selling wallpaper and paint range, bed linen, mugs, glassware, cutlery, carpets, flowers, and wrapping paper.
In 2012, Laurence joined Littlewoods as the face of interior design, launching a collection via a one-hour interactive live film shown on the Littlewoods Facebook page, which was their most successful launch of interiors products. In 2014, Laurence launched The House of Laurence, a global home collection available in the Far East, Middle East, and China, with plans to extend the brand to South America and Europe.
Laurence's global product expansion is a result of the huge surge in popularity created by his international television vehicles, making him one of the UK's most successful home designers, with more British homes containing an LLB product than any other designer brand.
