Laurianne, also known as Laurie Ann Van Vleck, achieved academic excellence by graduating early from Madison High school in Houston, Texas, earning the prestigious Outstanding Girl Graduate and attendance awards. Subsequently, she attended the University of Houston and the University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a dual major in psychology and music, as well as a minor in psychology. Later, she switched her major to Radio-TV-Film and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1970.
After completing her undergraduate studies, Laurianne furthered her education by taking additional coursework towards a Master's degree in Drama Education, while also serving as a teachers' aide in the public schools. Her academic pursuits continued with studies in telecommunications, TV production, acting, and scriptwriting, which ultimately led to her interest in Office Technology.
Prior to her career in Office Technology, Laurianne had an earlier interest in graphic arts, which developed into a career in typesetting, graphic design, and technical writing. This eventually culminated in the ownership of Docu-Prep Express Design Studio. Concurrently, she continued to pursue her passion for acting and modeling, while also being actively involved in the size acceptance movement.
In her free time, Laurianne enjoyed standup comedy and karaoke, showcasing her versatility and creativity.
