Lea Hutton Beasmore is a multifaceted professional with a passion for the film industry. Born and raised in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, she graduated from Anderson County High School and Lexington Technical Institute (University of Kentucky).
After working at the Valvoline headquarters in Lexington for eight years, Lea moved to Maysville, Kentucky with her family. She later returned to Lawrenceburg, where she began working at Straub Elementary school. Her experience as a substitute teacher/assistant for 19 years in the Lawrenceburg area has been instrumental in shaping her skills.
Lea's journey in the film industry began with her role as a "Stand-in" in the movie "Hope Bridge". She soon transitioned to production, acting, and background work, appearing in numerous films and short films throughout Kentucky.
Her breakthrough roles include "The Invasion of Kelly" as Ms. Gleanie, "Grace" as Grace, and "Slipper Hero" as Paulette Goofer. Lea has also appeared in national and local commercials, including a PSA regarding drug addiction, Cherry Spas, and sporting events for Bristol and local sporting good chains.
As a casting director, Lea has worked on various productions, including the pilot of "Remnant 13", "Rayden Valkrie- Saga of a Lionheart", and "Messenger of Light". She has also served as a casting assistant for the movie "JL Ranch" (A Hallmark Movie).
In addition to her acting and casting work, Lea continues to work on various productions as a UPM, Production Manager, or Casting Extras. She has also assisted in hosting acting classes in central Kentucky.
In recognition of her dedication to the film industry, Lea started a Facebook group link called "KENTUCKY FILMS", a network designed for communication regarding trailers, casting calls, crew availability, and other film-related topics.
As a listed Production Assistant, Production Coordinator, and Production Secretary with the Kentucky Film Commission, Lea aims to bring film to central Kentucky, particularly her hometown of Lawrenceburg. Her motto, inspired by Winston Churchill, is "Never, ever ever ever give up".
