Lee Charles, a prominent figure in the world of martial arts, was born in Birkenhead, Wirral, Merseyside, England. His fascination with martial arts began at a tender age, sparked by his first encounter with a Bruce Lee movie. At just six years old, Lee started training in Shotkan Karate, laying the foundation for a lifelong passion.
Prior to his introduction to martial arts, Lee was an exceptionally athletic individual, showcasing his prowess in football by playing for esteemed clubs such as Everton, Tranmere, and Wrexham. However, a career-ending injury forced him to reevaluate his priorities, and he redirected his focus towards the martial arts.
As Lee's expertise grew, he expanded his knowledge by exploring various styles, eventually becoming a six-time World Kickboxing Champion. By 2005, he embarked on a new journey, relocating to the United States to pursue a career in Hollywood.
In West Hollywood, Los Angeles, Lee's path converged with that of his idol, the legendary kickboxer, martial artist, actor, and choreographer Benny Urquidez. This serendipitous encounter marked the beginning of Lee's ascent to stardom. Through Benny's guidance, Lee was introduced to the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, where he formalized his training in acting and stunt work.
Soon, Lee became an integral member of Benny's stunt team, paving the way for his professional debut in 2008. Since then, he has appeared in notable films such as Dracula Untold (2014),Viking Destiny (2018),and The Marine 6: Close Quarters (2018),solidifying his status as a talented and accomplished performer.
