Lisa Hammer is a multifaceted creative artist, recognized for her work as a writer, director, producer, editor, actress, and singer/composer. She is best known for her voice acting as Triana Orpheus on the Adult Swim cartoon The Venture Bros and her extensive music career as a singer-songwriter.
Her film "Empire of Ache" was honored with a screening at the MoMA and Nighthawk Cinemas as part of the "Future of Film is Female" series, and it was also acquired by the Getty Museum's Feminist Film Collection, curated by Miranda July.
Hammer has directed several independent feature films, including "Pox", "Pus$bucket", and "The Invisible Life of Thomas Lynch", which she co-directed with James Merendino. She has also worked as an editor on various projects, including "Punk's Dead: SLC Punk 2", "Montauk", and "Out of Order".
Her original series Maybe Sunshine is available on Seeka TV (ROKU),and she has collaborated with Ben Edlund and Doc Hammer on multiple projects. She created "The Pox Show", starring H. Jon Benjamin, Jonathan Katz, and Arden Myrin, and directed and produced the award-winning weekly NY cable TV show "Turn of the Century" with Dame Darcy, Courtney Love, and Thurston Moore.
Lisa has directed a range of actors, including Clayne Crawford, Lisa D'Amato, Jimmy Duval, and Russell Sams. Her films have won awards from various film festivals, including the CMJ Film Festival, Telly Awards, Hugo Awards, and the Chicago Underground Film Festival.
She has also had one-woman shows at the Olympia Film Festival, Perth International Film Festival, and the Duolun Art Museum in Shanghai, China. Her latest endeavors include working as a cinematographer, actor, and co-creator on James Merendino's "Great Kills", and producing and editing Levi Wilson's "Luke and Emma and a Gas station on Franklin Avenue", which was acquired by AMC+.

As a musician, Lisa was the lead singer of the gothic rock bands Mors Syphilitica, The N.C.S., and Requiem In White. She has released CDs on Projekt Records and has an indie band, Radiana, with guitarist/composer Steven Deal and The Terror Twins: Bloody Ballads with brother James Merendino. Her music has been used in various films, including Alucard, Montauk, Until Someone Gets Hurt, Punk's Dead, Beneath the Black Moon, Idle Worship, and Pox.
