Additionally, she is the co-host of the popular Go Help Yourself Podcast, a comedy self-help podcast aimed at making life more manageable.
Born and raised in Illinois, Lisa honed her improvisation and sketch comedy skills in Chicago, where she studied and performed at esteemed institutions such as The Second City, iO (formerly Improv Olympic),and The Annoyance. Her impressive resume boasts critically acclaimed shows, including the remount of Close Quarters at iO, Out Of Character at The Playground, and A Woman's Path at The Annoyance.
Recently, Lisa's short film PHILANTHROPY made its world premiere at the prestigious Dances With Films festival, which she wrote, starred in, and co-produced. The film went on to have an impressive festival season, appearing in eleven festivals across the nation, including the San Jose International Short Film Festival, Beloit International Film Festival, Austin Comedy Film Festival, and earning a nomination at the Laugh or Die Comedy Fest.
Lisa also created DOG MOMS, a satirical web series parodying Lifetime TV's Dance Moms, which was selected for the New Media Film Festival and the Austin Revolution Film Festival in 2016. Furthermore, she is the co-creator, writer, producer, and star of the web series Rick & Len Fix Sh!t In Your House, which won several awards in 2013, including the Lead Actress award at LAWebfest, a finalist spot at the Chicago Comedy Pilot Competition, and the overall web series winner at the Chicago Comedy Film Festival.
The Go Help Yourself Podcast, which Lisa co-hosts, has produced over 250 episodes and was featured in Spotify's 2021 "Find The One" event, alongside notable podcasts hosted by Brené Brown, Michelle Obama, and Oprah.
In 2013, Lisa relocated to Los Angeles, where she has continued to thrive as a creative force in the entertainment industry.
