Biography

Liz Rose, a multi-GRAMMY award-winning songwriter, has established herself as a powerhouse in the music industry. As the 2007 SESAC Nashville Songwriter of the Year, she has made a name for herself through her work in songwriting. Additionally, she founded her own publishing company, Liz Rose Music, in 2010.

Rose's solo debut, Swimming Alone, marks a new chapter in her career as a recording artist. The album features ten tracks, all written by Rose herself, which poetically tell her own narrative. The songs on the album explore memories from her childhood, including her parents' family-run dime store, as well as her experiences with love and heartbreak.

Born and raised in Texas, Rose moved to Nashville at the age of 37 to pursue a career in songwriting. She has since become one of the most successful songwriters in the industry, with a long list of hit songs to her name. She has written songs for numerous artists, including Taylor Swift, Little Big Town, Alison Krauss, Blake Shelton, Bonnie Raitt, Carrie Underwood, Chris Young, Gary Allan, LeeAnn Womack, Miranda Lambert, and Tim McGraw.
