Logan Lerman is a talented actor born in Beverly Hills to a Jewish family. His parents, Lisa Goldman and Larry Lerman, are his manager and an orthotist and businessman, respectively. Logan has two older siblings, Lindsey and Lucas, and his family operates the orthotics and prosthetics company Lerman & Son, which was founded by his great-grandfather, Jacob Lerman.
As a young boy, Logan showed a keen interest in acting, telling his mother he wanted to be an actor when he was just two and a half years old. By the age of four, he had an agent and was booked for two commercials. His early roles included appearances in The Patriot (2000),What Women Want (2000),Riding in Cars with Boys (2001),and A Painted House (2003),for which he won his first Young Artist Award.
Logan's subsequent roles included The Butterfly Effect (2004),Jack & Bobby (2004-2005),Hoot (2006),The Number 23 (2007),3:10 to Yuma (2007),Meet Bill (2007),and My One and Only (2009). He also appeared in Gamer (2009),Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010),The Three Musketeers (2011),The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012),and Stuck in Love (2012).
In 2013, Logan starred in Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, followed by roles in Noah (2014),Fury (2014),Indignation (2016),Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero (2018),and Hunters (2020). His upcoming roles include End of Sentence (2019) and Shirley (2020).
When not working, Logan enjoys playing soccer and baseball, and is an LA Lakers fan.
