Biography

Lou Salvador Jr., a renowned Filipino film actor, was born on December 4, 1940. He earned the nickname "The James Dean of the Philippines" for his remarkable acting skills.

Salvador Jr. was the son of Lou Salvador, a legendary basketball player who transitioned to film and stage production. His father directed him in notable films such as Bad Boy (1957) and Barkada (1958). As a contract star of LVN Pictures, Salvador Jr. made a significant impact in the Philippine film industry.

After retiring from the film industry in the late 1970s, Salvador Jr. relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada. Unfortunately, he passed away on April 19, 2008, at the age of 67, eight months shy of his 68th birthday, due to lung cancer. He was laid to rest at Palm Eastern Cemetery in Las Vegas, Nevada.
