Lubor Tokoš was a renowned Czech actor, active in film, television, and theater, as well as a radio collaborator. His impressive artistic endeavors extended to painting and writing books. The audience's subconscious was often stirred by his distinctive voice.
In his youth, he created an unforgettable role as Simon Hart in the film "VYNÁLEZ ZKÁZY" directed by Karel Zeman. Before transitioning to the theater, he attended a military gymnasium. Initially, he worked as a prompter in the theater. Throughout his life, he traversed various theaters in Hodonín, Brno, Uherské Hradiště, Ostrava, Prague, Olomouc, and Zlín.
Tokoš definitively left the theater in 1985. In radio, he recorded over a thousand programs and read for the blind in Prague's studio of Karel Emanuel Macana. In film, he created dozens of roles. Some notable films include "SMRT KRÁSNÝCH SRNCŮ" (1986),"O PRINCEZNĚ JASNĚNCE A LÉTAJÍCÍM ŠEVCI" (1987),and "GOLET V ÚDOLÍ" (1995).
In 2002, he received the Thalia Award for his lifetime achievement.
