Lucia Micarelli's life journey began in Queens, New York, where she was born to a Korean mother and Italian-American father. By the tender age of three, she had already developed a profound passion for the arts, dedicating herself to the rigorous practice of dance, piano, and violin.
As she grew, Lucia's artistic inclinations only intensified, and by the age of five, she had made the bold move to Hawaii, where she made her debut as a soloist with the esteemed Honolulu Symphony Orchestra.
Years later, in 1994, Lucia left the tropical paradise of Hawaii behind, returning to her roots in New York, where she was accepted into the prestigious Juilliard School of Music. For seven years, she immersed herself in the world of violin, honing her craft and refining her skills.
Following her formal education, Lucia's talents were in high demand, and she was invited to join numerous tours, showcasing her exceptional solo performances with the illustrious Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Jethro Tull, Josh Groban's "Closer and Awake" tours, and most recently, Chris Botti.
In 2010, Lucia's artistic pursuits took a dramatic turn when she was cast in her first acting role as "Annie" in the critically acclaimed HBO series "Treme", created by the visionary minds of David Simon and Eric Overmyer.
