Mackenzie Christine Foy was born on November 10, 2000, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey in the entertainment industry. Her early career as a child model started in 2004, with notable clients including Garnet Hill, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Guess Kids. Her impressive portfolio also features print ads for renowned companies such as Rubbermaid, Jones Apparel Group, The Walt Disney Company, Mattel, Target Corporation, Talbots, Guess, and Gap.
Foy's acting career began with commercial appearances, followed by her first television role in 'Til Death in 2009. She went on to guest star in Hawaii Five-0 and R.L. Stine's the Haunting Hour in 2010. At the tender age of 11, she landed her breakthrough role as Renesmee, the daughter of Bella and Edward, in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and Part 2, released in 2011 and 2012, respectively. Jessica Chastain played the adult version of Foy's character, while Ellen Burstyn, her Wish You Well co-star, played the oldest version.
Before turning 18, Foy had the opportunity to work alongside an impressive array of A-list co-stars in her role as Clara in The Nutcracker and the Four Realms in 2018, alongside Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, Eugenio Derbez, and Keira Knightley.
When not focusing on her studies to graduate high school in the spring, Foy enjoys painting, playing with her dog, and practicing Tae Kwon Do, a martial art in which she holds a third-degree black belt.
