Maile Flanagan, a talented actress, won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program for her outstanding work in Jakers! The Adventures of Piggley Winks in 2003, which was recognized with an Emmy in 2006.
Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Maile has had a diverse upbringing, having lived in Bangkok, Nurnberg, and Munich before attending Boston College. After completing her education, she joined the improv comedy troupe Every Mother's Nightmare, alongside notable individuals such as Wayne Wilderson, Tom McCarthy, Andrea Beutner, Kevin Kappock, Peter Civetta, and Nancy Walls Carell, in Minneapolis.
Maile honed her skills by performing stand-up and improv comedy at various venues in Minneapolis, including the Comedy Gallery, Knuckleheads, and the Brave New Workshop, led by Dudley Riggs. Her impressive stage presence earned her a spot in the Theatre 911's production of Bad Seed, which won an LA Weekly award for Best Comedy Ensemble when she moved to LA.
Maile has excelled in various mediums, including television, commercials, animation, and film. Her exceptional voice acting skills earned her a nomination for an Annie Award for Voice Acting in an Animated Television Program at the 32nd Annual Annie Awards in 2005.
In addition to her impressive resume, Maile has numerous LA theater credits, including collaborations with writer/director Justin Tanner at Third Stage in Burbank. Her work with Tanner has spanned several shows, including Wife Swappers, Pot Mom, Oklahomo!, Zombie Attack!, and The Strip.
