Manoush, a multifaceted actress and singer, was born as the third child to a Manouche Sinti mother and a German-American father. Her journey in the entertainment industry began with her debut film appearances as "Ariana" in "M-Inspiration" (1998) and "Engagement" (1998). She then played the role of "Lucretia" in the unfinished Belgian action movie "Time to Kill" (1999),showcasing her versatility as an actress.
Following her appearance in "Time to Kill", Manoush made a minor role in the TV movie "Einer geht noch" (2000) directed by Vivian Naefe, which was closely followed by her breakout role as a character in Jean-Pierre Jeunet's critically acclaimed film "Amélie" (2001). Her frequent appearances in TV and movies across Europe established her as a prominent figure in the film industry.
After 2006, Manoush expanded her reach to the USA, solidifying her position in the industry. However, her talents extend beyond acting. She has been working on her own songs since the early 1990s, when she was discovered by German producer Jörg Pasler. He was captivated by her lyrics, guttural voice, and unique song interpretation style.
